Coming Home

Talked with Bud this morning.  He is dealing with having to turn around quite well.  There were victories and disappointments yesterday.  He is happy for those that summited and shares in the groans with those that didn’t.  All part of the experience of mountain climbing.

He is at Camp 2 and making his way down.  I am ready for him to come on home.  It will probably be the end of the week before I see him and it is just not soon enough.
Bud will give details of his oxygen trials when he can get to a computer.  I won’t even try to explain as I am terribly untechnical. He was making jokes as we talked and I am thankful that in typical Bud style, he is handling this mountain setback as graciously as he has handled his past mountain successes!
I can’t even begin to express my thanks to everyone who has encouraged me and prayed for Bud during this time.  I am giving thanks to God this morning for wonderful family and friends that have laughed with me, handed me kleenex and hugged my neck through these 2 months.
