Just talked with Bud.  The winds were blowing in the background almost obliterating his voice.  They are going to wait a few hours in the hopes that the winds will abate enough for a summit bid.  He thinks the chances are 1 in 4.  If they don’t abate, he will not make a summit attempt.  I have always said that Bud is cautious.  He is.  He said some might try to summit in the high winds, but he will not.  It would add an element of danger that is just too risky.  Additionally, these winds are the front of a storm that is moving in.  That means that Bud’s climb would be over.

I won’t know anything for who knows how many hours.  I will send word by the website as soon as I know something.
