Camp 3
Bud called this morning. He always seems to call about the time I get my food and sit down for breakfast at McDonalds. Nothing like a cold egg for breakfast! You know I am just so glad to hear his voice, I don’t care if the egg gets cold.
He sounded so excited and strong. You can tell alot about Bud’s mental and physical state by the tone of his voice when he calls. He only coughed once during our conversation. (Good sign.) They are at Camp 3 and will be on oxygen here on out, except for when talking on the phone or going to the “bathroom.”
Today they will head to Camp 4 and will make their summit bid from there. The biggest factor that could effect that would be the weather. In particular, the winds are a significant issue. He is still hoping to summit Thursday evening. It is my intention to make an immediate post as soon as I hear from him.

Thank you all for your encouragement and support. It means so much to Bud and I.
